Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tightener, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends to ever play. In addition to being the leader in receiving yards and third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez also was the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's studio. Gonzalez is an anchor for FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL KICKOFF. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame show which airs before FOX NFLSUNDAY. It airs at 11:45 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring in the NFL at the end of the year 2013 wasn't true. On March 15 2013 Gonzalez signed with Falcons a 2-year contract for 14 million dollars. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was the last as NFL the leading reciever in the NFL.
